Lydia Koong is...

our beloved aunt, a beloved sister, a beloved daughter, a beloved cousin, and a beloved friend. She has gone to be with the Lord, our Daddy in heaven on the 7th March 2009. Although her physical being has left us, but she will live in our hearts for eternity. We hold on to the promises of our Father in heaven , just as Lydia held on to Him till the very day her spirit was brought into Jesus' loving arms. We miss you dearly but we shall meet again in heaven...

Kota Bharu daysss..

CNY 1992

Aunt Lydia used to stay with us in our house in Kota Bharu until she left in 1994 to go to Shah Alam to work. Haha look at Erwin (my bro) looking so cheeky and why was my dad looking so bored during CNY??? She used to fetch me around in her Honda Cap red scooter =) I can still remember the sound of the revving engine and she looking so cool with her helmet.
Check out the piano behind us ;) while we were growing up and learning piano, she was always entertaining us with some of her own favorites like Edelweiss (played with the left hand on C chord at all times =)) and the Happy Birthday Song! She'll always say, ' Hmmph! I also know how to play! ' and start playing her tunes =)

The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
Isaiah 57:1-2
