Lydia Koong is...

our beloved aunt, a beloved sister, a beloved daughter, a beloved cousin, and a beloved friend. She has gone to be with the Lord, our Daddy in heaven on the 7th March 2009. Although her physical being has left us, but she will live in our hearts for eternity.We hold on to the promises of our Father in heaven , just as Lydia held on to Him till the very day her spirit was brought into Jesus' loving arms. We miss you dearly but we shall meet again in heaven...

A Visit to the Zoooo...

Back in 1997 when we went to the Zoo in Singapore together

I still remember her always running after our young cousins at the zoo. Making sure young-uns had enough water, making sure they don't fall down. Always taking care of this and that. Never resting. that's our Aunt Lydia =). Always watching out for someone else.

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

I can almost hear her agreeing loudly ,'AMEN!' to that scripture like she always does when she reads the bible scriptures! =)
